A 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom, Two Story residence with a Studio Apartment and Office with separate entrance above a 2 car Garage. The residence is located in a Neighborhood Traditional Zoning District. While the building site is a waterfront property, it is separated by a local road, essentially creating two separate parcels. The challenge for this site was twofold. The first, the exterior focus to the waterfront is from across the street for the building location on the lot. This was accomplished by designing 1st & 2nd Floor exterior Covered Lanai’s with waterfront views, while having a private exterior space in the rear for a swimming pool. The second was the required flood elevation for the 1st living level, approximately 10’ above the roadway. The goal was to create an aesthetic design, while maintaining a gradual access to the front entry. Exterior features: Hardie Siding, Anderson Impact windows, Flat tile roof, with accent Metal Roofing, Tabby Shell / stucco highlights, and louvers.
